cuttings from annuals....will they grow longer???
i read that marigolds are annual flowering plants and as such, they die up after one year or one season of flowering. im new to gardening and i just like to know if my cuttings of my flowering marigolds which have grown well die at the same time as my old batch of marigolds or will the cuttings have a new lifespan and be considered a different plant from where i cut them from... i have replanted a few cuttings i have of the main plant and they seem to be growing fine.
gee, i hope i didnt confuse you guys........ :? :?:

The plant that grows from a cutting is a new "baby" plant. It is independent from the "mother" plant and has its own lifespan.
