Hi.* I live in Ohio and have very, very tiny yellowish tan bugs all over my Petunia blooms.* When I an dead-heading the plant these bugs get on me and they bite!* What can I do to savely keep them off of my plants and off of me?* Does anyone know what these bugs are?* Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Lindee,

I've never heard of an insect pest on a petunia that bites humans.* I would suggest you contact your local extension service so you can either get help from them or send them a sample.

Please let us know what you find out.*

    Good luck,

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
