    Tulips

    What do i do with the Tulips after they have all flowered. What area
    > do I cut off to make sure they will flower next year, what year is

    Hi Stollies,

    After tulips have flowered you can cut the stalk down to the leaves. Leave the leaves until they turn yellow and come out of the ground with a gentle tug. They will feed the bulb for next year's bloom.

    It's difficult to say when to plant them as you don't say where you live or your hardiness zone. It's probably time to plant them though. Here's a zip code zone finder.

    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
