    Bent aloe leaves

    Hi everyone :)

I'm taking care of an aloe plant for a friend of mine while she is away. I had done research on plant care (I water it about 1/wk or so), but unfortunatly, one of the leaves has bent over and is now brown tipped. Is it possible to nurse this leaf back to health, or should I just cut it off?

Also, the older leaves (closer to the root) also seem to be leaning more heavily towards the ground and I'm afraid that they will eventually bend over and perhaps snap as well. Are the leaves getting to heavy? Should I be triming them to prevent them from bending?

Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it!

You don't have to trim your aloe until the leaves begin to turn brown. As the plant grows the lower and older leaves will die off. It's the nature of the plant. It may need a larger pot. I would let your friend do that.
