    My lavender plant has a fungus-like bulb growing out of the middle of it. It's in a pot in my backyard and I'm guessing it's been overwatered. How do I get rid of the fungus and keep it from coming back?

    Can you post a picture?* I've not heard of anything like that and a picture would be most helpful.

    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
