    Gerbera Plant

I received a gerbera plant as a gift with no info on how to care for it. On Friday morning it was drooping so I watered it and it stood up. Unfortunately I think I overwatered it because this morning it is totally drooping. I poured a lot of the water out, but I don't think there is any hope for it. Should I lay it to rest or is there something that can be done to make it stand again?

    Hi Lena,
You don't say your state or hardiness zone, so I don't know if you can put it outside. Anyway, drain off all the water and let it dry out some and hope for the best. It may recover. You may have to remove the flowers by cutting the strems close to the base of the plant. They like full sun. You can do a search at www.google.com for gerbera and get lots of info. Take a look at this one for some helpful info.
