Plants to live in vase with betta
Hello all, I am new to your forum, but I already know I am going to like it! I am tired of my dieffenbachia in with my betta. I want to do something different in a low light setting. I know a peace lily is the obvious choice, but I was wondering if anyone has done or heard of anything else?!?

Hi Dustin,
I looked at your profile to get an idea of your interests because I've never heard of a betta, but that was no help. Then I went to a dictionary. I'm thinking you have a fish in the water with your plant. There are other low light plants that will survive in water. Here's a list of plants that will grow in water.

A betta is also known as a Siamese Fighting Fish, or an oscar. They must live alone, or as the name implies they will fight to the death with other fish. Most of the internet information is about care of the fish, not gardening type tips re: the plant. I think that link will prove useful, thanks for the tip!
