    Blooms almost all year round

Hi I'm a beginner but I'm becoming very interested in planting flowers and seeing them bloom

You should have seen me when a hummingbird came in my backyard and went to my hosta flowers :D

I'm not one to plant a lot of flowers that attract bees, I'm more into the butterflies

Can you give me some tips on how to get blooms throughout the year, which flowers to buy

    Thanks

it depends on where you are ...

(you can't be where I am because we don't have hummingbirds here)

    what zone are you in?

It all depends on the zone your in. I'm in zone 3/4 and nothing will bloom past October and nothing starts until May the next year, but then there's no hummers or butterfly here then either so we all rest! Your best bet would be to go to a nursery and start asking questions or go to the library. If you see something in someones yard-stop and ask what it is. Most people love to show off their plants and some may be willing to part with a starter or seeds.
