Hyacinth Bulbs
I just purchased some Hyacinth bulbs from WalMart that was on sale. Every bulb has some growth coming from the pointed end. I live in S.E. Kansas and we have some snow and ice now with temperatures in the 20's during the day. I'm not sure what to do with these bulbs, should I plant them immediately when the ground is thawed enough to dig or wait until next spring?
Should I plant them in a tub for now and keep in the garage? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ron

My thoughts are to place them in a paper bag and toss them in the refrigerator. Then plant in spring.
Some people use Hyacinth vase and plant them indoors.
