moles

*i was told i could buy smoke bombs and kill the moles that tunnel under the yard and raise big clumps of dirt in yard, but the bombs did not work. I have used the hot pepper sauce mix but not helping, NOW WHAT DO I DO ABOUT THESE PESTS? ANY SUGGESTIONS

Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with moles.* I've heard from others that the scissor type traps work the best.* Here's an interesting conversation that should be helpful.

These things are moles. Today i got the hot sause and concotion mixed and dumped it down in holes that i shoveled up. I use to have alot of cats and did not have this problem, guess i will go to humane society and get some more cats as 5 are not doing it. Thanks for the help.:D*But i will get them if i have to till the yard. Ha Ha, just put flowers out and no grass.

That seems pretty grusome but it would be terribly effective. You might have to put buckets ofer the holes.

I have flooded a few out, but it takes alot of water, as their tunnels run everywhere. It is so cruel of them to tear up my yard, so I will be cruel back:X

Pauline, I feel your frustration and understand how you feel, but please keepin mind that they don't think are being cruel.* They just want to survive like we do.* When there were more predators to keep their numbers in check they weren't such a 'problem' for us humans.

I FIGURED SOMETHING OUT-------I AM GOING TO GET A HOSE--------HOOK IT TO THE EXHAUSE PIPE, RUN IT DOWN IN THE HOLE AND START THE ENGINE. MAYBE THAT WILL WORK. THINK SO EVERYONE, THE BOMBS ARE THAT, JUST TINY ONES AND THE TUNNELS UNDERGROUND I HAVE, WELL IT WILL TAKE A BIG VEHICLE.:shock:

I* USED ABOUT 200 GAL OF WATER AND SMASHED ALL THEIR TUNNELS IN, BUT THEY WORK AT DAY BREAK, AND I WILL BE WAITING ON THEM WHEN IT GETS WARM. MAN TOLD ME HIS GRANDDAD SHOT EM EARLY IN AM.
