Zebra grass help!!

I'm new to this list. I'm Paula from MA.

I just pulled up my big clump of zebra grass because it appears it has lost its stripes! I thought it may have been crab grass that came up because perhaps the zebra grass had died but when I pulled out the clump, it was clearly grass. Is it possible that the very expensive zebra grass I purchased could have lost its stripes??

By now you will have seen stripes. Zebra grass doesn't produce the stripes until the heat of summer returns.
