I have a few questions about Bougainvilleas.

1. I have one that is about 2 years old that we planted in the yard but i need to move it. Any suggestions or advice before i do so?

2. I would like to train one of my bougainvilleas to climb to the top of my fence and then spread horicontally across. Is this possible, has anyone had success with something like this?



any tips about bougainvilleas are appreciated

as nobody else replied yet, while I'm a long ways away from an expert
on bougainvillea, I'll try this anyway.

For transplanting: I'd prune it quite a bit, and if for no other reason than to
not get poked.
And I don't see any good reason why it shouldn't be possible to train it along
a fence. You may have to cut off side branches on occasion.
