Bird's Nest Spruce
I planted several bird's nest spruce a couple weeks ago. They are in full sun/light afternoon shade and have been watered every other day - daily when it's windy and hotter. We have had a couple frosts since they've been in the ground. My problem is they are starting to turn brown on the tips of the new growth. I don't know what's happening! We are in zone 6. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Matty,
Sounds like you're drowning them. Water once a week if there is no rain and water deeply. It can't be that hot if you're getting frost. Hot would be over 80*. Even then you would need to check and see if the ground is dry.
