    Boxwood Planting

To all you Green thumbs out there,

I would like to build a planter box for some boxwood approximately 8 feet in length. My question is :

What is the minimum depth and width I would need to grow healthy boxwood?

    Thanks you,
    Rob

    Hi Spender,

The deeper the better. It would also depend on how many boxwoods you plan on putting in your planter. If you can make it 3' deep that would be great. That would be LOTS of soil so I'm thinking this will be sitting on the ground.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
