Can someone give me some insight into a cotoneaster moth problem? Three years ago I planted some cotoneaster plants in my front beds and every year they have been attacked by these "webby" white moths. My parents and other family members have cotoneasters in their yards for years and have never had a problem. I really like these plants but I'm trying to decide whether or not I should keep them. They look terrible for a month after the moths start in on them and I usually have to spray them 2 or 3 times to get them under control. My question is: Could be something else in my yard attracting these moths? Or, can someone tell me if there is there some specific reason as to why I've had them every year? Thanks for the help.
