    dieffenbenchia

    hi
i have a dieffenbencia plant. i place it on window sill.when i was out on vacation the pot fell down and the plant came out with its roots.by the time i returned i saw all the leaves of the plant were dead.and realised that the plant came out of the soil and broke into 2 stems.so i planted both the stems with little roots into the soil. the pot became so unbushy bcos of no leaves.please tell me what to do inoreder to grow my dieffenbenchia plant back to normal and bushy. tell me how it propagates.
    will it die or live?.
    waiting for ur reply.

    Hi Vasavi,

Sorry to hear about this. I would suggest that you soak the roots with the stem in water overnight. Then replant in soil. If the stems don't have any roots you can put the cut stem end in moist perlite and root it. Take a look here.

    Good luck,

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
