Hedge
Hi
I live In Sydney, Australia and we are laying a new lawn in the front yard
me and my wife are new to gardening and we are thinking of planting some Buxus as hedges.
I like some flowering plants and was confused if I should plant them in front of the hedge or behind the hedge .
wont the hedge block the view of the flowers if I plant behind the hedge?
we have a very small front yard and was thinking of 2 X ficus tree and a Japanese dwarf Maple tree in the front as a feature tree. we want a garden with formal look
could you please recommened any other tress /shurbs and flowering plants such that I may get flowers all year round with low maintenance. the front yard receives a lot of sun and its a corner house and the first house as you enter the street so want to make sure it looks the best
Thanks in advance for the help
Cheers
AJ
