Juniper

I have some Wichita Blue junipers which are showing dying branches (just go very pale brown).* The plants are in full sun or part shade, are getting a sufficient amount of water but not excessive.* I don't see any bugs or webs.* Had quite a bit of die-off after a dry and windy winter, trimmed the plants back, but now it's coming back.* Could it be a Ph problem?* The online sources I've seen say junipers have a wide tolerance.* Our soil is a little acid, but these plants are not far from concrete walls.

Unfortunately you don't say where you live so I can't say if it's the climate.* These shrubs don't do well outside of arid climates.* Here's some info on a couple of fungal problems these shrubs can have. Take a look to see what might fit what you are seeing.* Your juniper would be Juniperus scopulorum 'Wichita Blue'.* Your particular variety isn't listed for resistance of these fungal problems.
