Looking for help
Hi. Being overwhelmed and need some ideas for reasonably thick and fast growing shrubs. I live in zone 5b, the soil is a clay mix (drainage is reasonable although it stays wetter than it should for a bit longer after a heavy rain), western exposure with full afternoon sun and heat. If it helps, the grass and marigolds have no problems with this local. I need the shrubs for some shade/heat relief on our trailer (the siding on this is an off-white) in addition to it being a bare landscape. They should be no wider than 4 feet, height isn't a problem as long as they can be trimmed. I prefer evergreens but will take any and all suggestions. Thanks so much in advance.
