MOUNTAIN FIRE--POISONOUS?

I BOUGHT A "MOUNTAIN FIRE PIERIS". ON A WEB SITE IT SAIS IT WAS POISONOUS TO EAT BUT DID'NT SAY HUMANS OR DOGS, I HAVE A COUPLE OF DOGS. NOW I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS SAFE IN THE BACK YARD WITH THEM. I WAS THINKING ABOUT PUTING IT IN A LARGE CONTAINER. I'M IN INDIANA AND IT GETS REALLY COLD HERE IN THE WINTER. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY THING ABOUT THIS PLANT? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ECHO :?:

Also, please remove your caps lock and bold lettering. Caps in computer language mean you are yelling and the bold letters mean you are screaming. It really isn't necessary and is very hard on the eyes. Thanks,
