Thread: Shrubs

We have forsythia, lilac, and honeysuckle shrubs that my wife's mother gave to us years ago, we would like to take cuttings of these shrubs and plant them in an area we just had cleared, we are not sure how to do this or if it is even possible. Thanks for any help.*

    Hi Virkat,

You can propagate forsythia and honeysuckle with softwood cuttings.

    Here's ways to propagate lilac.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
