3 Year old Peach Tree

I have a 3 year old peach tree; and live in Southeast Mo., it's late April and my tree is starting to again bear fruit.....but this year my peach tree is starting to lose all its leaves! The fruit is staying on the branches....but the leaves that remain are starting to curl! Can anyone tell me what is happening? Thanks!

Last year the leaves on my peach tree all curled up. In early spring this year I put up some clear plastic in front of my peach tree to provide protection against the rain. And now the leaves are looking normal and small fruits are beginning to form, so I'm getting ready to remove the plastic again. Hopefully I have avoided peach leaf curl this year.
