hey,
I am landscaping a backyard and was looking at some oaks that would tolerate mildly alkaline soil p.h (about 7.3). The ones that I am looking at were Bimundors oak(english x white hybrid), White oak, English oak, Black oak, and Scarlet oak. Most of these dont like alkaline soils, but I've heard they will grow just fine in a mildly alkaline soil. The soil isnt a muddly clay as typical in Denver but a sand that was probably left from the constrution. They would get some watering but not too much with the water restrictions and drought. Which are the ones that would work?

thanks,
Pete
