Arborvitae Identification

I live in Minnesota and have seen the most beautiful blue, soft and whispy upright and fairly compact (9'tall x 3'wide) arborvitae (and they don't get winter burn!). I haven't had any luck finding a local nursery or resource that has them, let along knows what they are. If anyone can help I would so appreciate it! Thank you!

I did a google with the term:
Arborvitae + blue
and the only one I come up with is Thuja orientalis 'Blue Cone' aka blue cone arborvitae.* Is this what you saw?

You can repeat the search and you'll find nurseries that carry them.* You can check references for mail order nurseries at this site.* Try and purchase from a nursery in a colder zone such as you live in.*

Hello Newt!

That was so nice of you to try to research for me - thank you! I did also find the "blue cone" variety however this is not it. The one I am searching for does not have any blue cones - or any cones at all that I could see. It was the actual green "foliage" of the arborvitae that was very blue instead of the usual green. I also don't think that it gets as big as the blue cone variety. I will take your advice and try to find a more comprehensive resource - I think I'll consult our local arboretum... Thanks again!
