    Howdy all. Just bought a Japanese Maple at a good deal and it was called "Best Red". Can't find that variety on the internet. Anyone heard of it and know where I might be able to find information on it? Thanks. :)

    I can't find anything on it either.* Have you asked the nursery where you purchased it?* Do you have the full botanical name?** Is it a palmatum?

    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
