black limbs on arborvitaes.

Can anyone help me I recently planted some arborvitaes and the limbs are turning black , I have a soaker hose for watering and for a while they were doing okay, this black is only on the limbs not yet on the trunk or the leaves of the trees, is there something I can use to cure this ,I do not want to lose them..thank you.[/i]

Are they getting blacker? Does the plant seem to be surviving anyway?
