evergreen ash tree seed pods

We have 4 of these trees, and the bigger they get, the worse the situation is with the pods. My neighbor just told me what a challenge they are to him and his pool- HELP!!!! does anyone know how to kill the pods and not the tree?

Nope, no way to prevent the keys from forming. Oh, I suppose if you prevented the tree from blossoming it wouldn't form the ash keys. No way short of clipping off all the blossoms.
