    Help! My Tree is DYING!

I just moved into a house which has a wonderfully landscaped tropical garden in front and back. Only one problem: The beautiful Banana Palm Tree in front (at least, that's what I think she's called; that's what the previous owners of the house called her) is slowly dying. The tips of her leaves, which are normally a reddish-brown tone, turn yellow as the leave whithers up and folds. In the last four weeks, she has lost two leaves. I water thrice weekly, every other plant seems to be doing fine, I just don't know how to care for this plant and I'm afraid to lose her. Any advice? :(

You might want to do a google search for banana palm. Sounds like you are watering too often. If that doesn't help you might want to ask these folks.
