My walnut tree provides beautiful shade for my backyard, but it's awful to have to pick up all the nuts in the fall! And the dogs love chewing them, which I'm afraid isn't safe and could cause stains if they make their way into the house. Does anyone know of a way to "sterilize" this tree?
