I am from New Jersey and had a lilac, a plum tree and two mimosa trees in my front yard. The lilac stopped blooming and pretty much died two years ago (and may be unrelated but i figured the info is good) Anyway, my plum tree was fine and even had fruit in the spring, Within a few weeks all the leaves had fallen off and the branches are all dead. (I know NOTHING about gardening) My neighbor cut it down for me. Anyway, the mimosa tree appears to be getting sick also. A few of the branches have no leaves already.
Does anyone have an idea to try to save the last two trees? Please let me know what other information will be helpful.
