I am an artist working on a visual/language project. I am interested in gathering stories associated with trees or forests from different people and interpreting them in a language I have been developing during the past six months. I thought that in this forum there may be people who have had vivid experiences of trees and might enjoy participating. Thank you for any responses.

What is your most vivid memory or sensation associated with trees?

If it is a memory, was it a group of trees, a forest, an individual tree? What did the tree(s) look like? What did it/they feel and smell like? What do you remember happening?

If it is a description, where did you first hear about/see it/them? What weather exists around the tree(s)? What environment and wildlife exist? What does the sensation make you think about?
