    Wild Ficus Tree Pricing

I just endured the moving out of a friend/roommate, who had the nerve to take my beloved 6.5' Wild Ficus Tree, named Timmy (the tree, not the roommate). Aside from being heartbroken & disappointed after caring for it over the years, and the general lack of nature in Brooklyn, I have no idea what to do with respect to the absconder's security deposit. Any ideas on what it is worth?

Hm... that's terrible. I would visit a local indoor plant store (or even a home depot like place) or nursery and see what they charge for the largest one there. Then, go with your gut. Perhaps you can mention that if he gives the plant back that he'll get his security dep. back...

    So sorry!

I just saw that you were in Brooklyn... (are there nurseries there? ;) ) I'd charge at least $200 for it. At least.
