Carrots with Blisters
I am guess like many carrot problems there may be too much nitrogen in my soil, but I can't confirm this. Does anyone know why my carrots are blistering instead of smooth? Too much water?
They seem healthy otherwise. A bit misshapen for sure.

I've never seen that. Not that extensive. We grew some that had a blister or two, but not looking like bubble wrap.
We did have spongy carrots one year. I mean, each one looked and even felt like a carrot shaped sponge. We blamed it on heavy clay soil and poor drainage.
