    Hello. new here.

    I've a question about fertilizer.

Last year I sent in a soil sample and found that I had way too much P & K. I'm not sure what happened but now I have to deal with it. The advice from the state lab said just add N and retest after 3 years. I'm wondering how much 32% N to use?

Anybody got any experience using 32?

    Hi Justwannano,

What are you using for the nitrogen that is 32% nitrogen?* I've never heard of a product called 32.* Didn't the lab tell you how much of what to apply?

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

    Thanks for the reply.

32 is a combination of urea and amonium sulfate. Its 32% N in liquid form. Its often called starter fertilizer. Its kinda potent for the home gardener but is pretty common here in farm country.

No the lab didn't say how much to apply.

Both urea and amonium sulfate are very acid so know that the pH of your soil will probably change.* You can use this chart as a guide.
