Hi! I am new to gardening in general and am interseted in growing jalapenos. I saved seeds from some jalapenos a friend gave us that were the BEST tasting ever! I've saved them for a year and 1/2 in a plastic ziploc tucked in a corner of a cabinet (dark, dry and cool) I am in mid NC and live in an apt right now. Can I grow them & how?

So much to explain to get this to work.** If you have a constant 70 degree room, you could buy some soil and a pot and place a plastic bag over it.* Be sure you have a good source of light so they grow straight an tall.
For me...*
Germination seed tray, seed germination soil, 72-80 degree room, 6 mill plastic over the top of the seed tray... water from the bottom up... the mist all the time... keep the plastic on the seed tray until you seed germination.**
This is what I did for habs.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
