Thread: tomatoes bite

  1. #1
*** I keep finding large bites out of the ripe tomatos in my garden, It would be impossible for deer to get in my yard and they are often high up on the plant and on thin branches so i dont think its a rodent , although its quite possible it is. Perhaps it could be a bird? I dont know. any way if anyone know what this is then please post a solution and the problem . The bites look like theve been nibbled and are only on the big tomatoes not the chreey tomatoes im growing right next to them.

It does look like birds.* I would suggest using bird netting to keep them away.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
