Hi ,I think there are tiny shoots on all the branches when I look very close and still a lot of buds left after a gale. I was afraid to take my tree out of the pot to dry it so I left the pot in the sun 25c and let it dry out now I am looking very close every day at these shoots*.****************************************** ************************************************** *************************
************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ********* I have another ? I have a small ledge on a corner of two walls that gets full sun in the summer of 35c to 40c and I would like to grow a small pot of something* but have no idea as this heat is new to me************************************************ ***********************
*thank you Morinja:?

Great news about your lemon tree.* :)*
As to what to grow in a small pot with those temps and full sun, you would need something that won't need much water.* I'd suggest some type of cactus or succulent.* 40*C is 104*F.* I get you as hardiness zone 10 if I remember correctly.* Think about sempervivum, aoenium, etc.* Many of these are rare, but will give you ideas.

Hi again Newt thank you for the site,I have had a look and will be looking in my garden centre at succulents they are so interesting in colour and shapes I have several in pots near my water fall with lava rocks around , I am getting into this hot weather gardening and have been buying unusual colours and shaped succulents and never thought about one for the wall, and now*I can look up all the names with the site you gave me. Today I have four leaves about a quarter inch long on lemon tree !

Hi Newt*** well things are going well for my lemon tree , after a big gale all the old leaves dropped off and it looked so sad but now when I look close all the branches have tiny little leaves on* no blossom left but I am happy to see it growing and I did have one tiny lemon until it blew off in the wind I will post some photos when my husband can show me how to do it*****************

I thought about your tree the other day when I answered another question about lemon trees.* At least the wind took care of cleaning away the old leaves.* :?* I hope your husband can show you how to post the pictures.* That would be great.* :)
