    Hi i have a small date palm in a pot on my sun terrace roof* and after a strong wind all my leaf tips are turning brown and drooping i am new to gardening in spain so i would love some advice

    Hi Morinja,

    Date palms fronds will dry out in windy sites.* Make sure the soil never dries out and keep it out of drying wind.* Do not prune off the fronds until they are completely brown.* Here's some info about pygmy date palm.

    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
