    Hi Liberty,

I did some searching and couldn't find any info on 'decon' cherry.* I'm guessing you are looking for a sweet cherry, both dark and light, so I searched with the term Prunus avium (which is a sweet cherry) and then added the particular variety - ex:* Prunus avium 'Decon'* I did find some interesting links you might find helpful.

This has some interesting info on light sweet cherries, including which are NOT recommended to grow.

Same university site as above, but has info on the dark sweet cherries.

I would suggest you search with the botanical names and look through the results until you find a retail site.* For Prunis avium 'Lambert' I found the first retail link on the second google page.** They even have a pollination page you can click on.

I also searched with the term:* sweet cherry varieties
and found these retail nurserys on the first page.

    Sour cherries are Prunus cerasus.

At this site you can check references for mail order nurseries and even search by state or plant material.

You don't say where you live so I don't know which sites are best for you to read as to geography.* I didn't particularly select any geographic area in my search.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Thank you for your help. I have found a lambert and will order it with another cherry for pollination. I live in Indiana and have just purchased some property and plan on getting a CSA started within the next few years and want to offer my customers fruits among other things

You are so very welcome!* Glad you found what you were looking for.* I'm guessing the CSA is an organic Community Supported Agricultural project.* Good luck with it.
