Organic Gardening for the future
ORGANIC GARDENING is a way of growing food and flowers that only use organic nutrients to nourish your garden soil. You will not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Growing good soil will grow good vegetables thereby growing healthy bodies and a healthy planet. Your garden will be fed with manure, compost, and green manure crops.
Companion planting and crop rotation keep the soil from being depleted and helps your garden avoid diseases and pesticides. Wherever you live you can grow a garden. Container gardening is perfect for apartments, rooftops and patios.
By planting an organic garden you will be reducing your carbon foot print and helping to stem the tides of climate change. Most food travels on diesel trucks from 1500 to 3000 miles from farm to table and is grown with diesel tractors, chemical fertilizers and sprayed with pesticides and herbicides.
Chemical fertilizers deplete the soil instead of building it and the pesticides and herbicides create a vicious cycle where the farms continually need more and more as the insects and pests become more and more resistant. All of these fossil fuels and chemicals produces excess CO2 and are a major contributor of global climate change.
When you have your own organic garden, your food travels less than a 1/4 mile from garden to table and you feed your soil organic fertilizer. You use beneficial insects to control harmful insects and biological controls if you have problems with pests or diseases.

Organic gardening has become popular as we become more aware of how toxic chemicals can harm our health and the health of our environment.

Organic Gardening Magic
I am excited to let you know that as winter sets in and the New Year approaches I have finally had a little time to do some writing and have put together a Free Organic Gardening Course. I hope this will help and inspire you in the next gardening season.
Organic gardening increases your health using a technique of growing food and flowers that builds your soil with organic matter. One of the most important concepts is that you will be growing good soil which in turn will grow good vegetables thereby growing healthy bodies and a healthy planet.
Organic Gardens are fed with manure, compost, and green manure crops. Today there are a wide variety of organic fertilizers easily found at your local hardware store or nursery. You may also want to use ashes, rock powders and minerals from the sea to give your plants the nitrogen, phosphorus, potash and trace minerals which they need to be strong, healthy and nutrient rich.
Organic gardeners understand the importance of crop rotation, the soil, the pests and the insects as well as the interdependency of all these factors and how they can bring you a balanced diet.
Benefits of organic gardens are free food, better tasting and more nutritious fruits and vegetables, prettier flowers and the knowledge you are creating a healthier planet.
Your food is not poisoned with chemical fertilizer, herbicides or pesticides which are commonly sprayed on the non organic food you find in your local grocery store. It just doesn't make cents and costs dollars to pay someone to poison you and your family.
Don’t panic its organic!
