I am about to plant "Bambusa Oldhamii". I am told it is a clumping variety. How far will this clump spread?:)

    Hi Melody,

I've never planted this so I did a google with the term:
    Bambusa Oldhamii + spread

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...ad&btnG=Search

Looks like it would spread to 20 feet or more.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Hi Newt. Thanks for the info.* It's a little scary, but I will persevere.
