bulbs with no flowers

I was wondering why I get leaves but no flowers ? Did I plant them to deep? I followed directions according to the package. Thanks, Coralbelle.

Gosh, it could be for several reasons.* Maybe the site was too wet, not enough sun, planted too deep, etc.* You don't say what you planted and if they were planted last fall.* If they are tulips that were planted in years before it could be they won't be back.

These bulbs are assorted types of tulips. They are all over 5 years old. The soil has varied over the years depending on the rain but its well drained. I noticed that I might get a few blooms but its mostly the leaves that come up and fade. I am planning on digging them up later this year and re-planting. I started the garden with these bulbs and now they are out of place. I just couldn't figure out why every year the leaves popped out but no flower.
