    growing hibiscus from seeds

hello, I am looking for information concerning growing some hibiscus from seeds. This year I found a large hibiscus plant growing near a swamp close to my house. I dug it up and planted it in my yard where it is doing quite well. It has several seed pods full of seeds, and I would like to plant these all around my yard. My first thought was to start the seeds indoors this winter, and transplant them in the spring. The hibiscus is the southern variety, and I live near Raleigh, NC. Thank you for your help. Mark.

It would be better to start in cup or pot and then plant in yard
