I have purchased "King Tut" cyperus papyrus. It is an annual and was costly, so I would like to try to overwinter it in my house. Does anyone have any experience with this, or any expert advice? Is it possible and worth a try?

Hi Bjames,
You don't say where you live, but it's hardy in zones 10 and 11.* This site says it won't overwinter indoors, but it's definitely worth a try.

I used to grow umbrella plant (a variety related to your plant) indoors all year round.* Bright spot, high humidity and frequent watering.

Thank you Newt,
I live in zone 5-6, where the papyrus is not winter hardy, but I will definitely try your method and attempt to carry it through the winter.

You are so very welcome!* I do hope you succeed in overwintering it.* It probably would do well in a cool room.
