anyone upset about the condition of their vines after the 18 degree nights we just had here in the south this past weekend? I am afraid I lost my climbing Hydrangea and*my* Jasmine Duet(evergreen). they both now have all freezer burned looking leaves - wilted and brownish. So Sad...
Anyone know if these vines can recover and bloom this season?

Cassymo, don't dispair yet.* Leaves are expendable to many shrubs, vines and trees.* As long as the roots haven't been damaged they should recover.* If buds weren's set they should bloom this year.* You can only wait and see.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
