    My yard is becoming covered in violets.* I love them and wondered if I take some and plant them in a planter for indoors?* Thank you, Carol

    Unfortunately they won't survive indoors as they need a cold dormant period.

    When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
