This is all over my backyard and I'm just curious as to what it is. Does anyone know? Thanks.

    Hi 2Suzanne,

You don't say where you live, but it looks like a Euphorbia.* Not sure which one.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

That was important information that I left out! I live in Northeast Georgia.

Thanks for getting back to me.* I'm sure it's a Euphorbia and, in your state, they do seed around alot.* I'm in Maryland and often find one variety that I have in my garden seeds alot too.* The seeds could have been brought in with other plant material you planted or blown in by the wind.* Do you remember planting anything like that?
