Can someone please tell me what the name of this flower is?

I have had these flowers for many,many years now.I just cant seem to find the name for them.My fater would know he planted them over 30 years ago,but he is now passed away.They weren't doing to well a few years ago where my father planted them,so i had dug them up and spread them out and low and behold they grow like weeds and bloom like crazy....they seem to grow better in shade,they close up in sunlight.Any help identifying these flowers would be much appreciated,ty

Possibly Tradescantia x andersoniana. There are many different named cultivars.
