    flower from armenia

    Hello,

    I've found this flower in Armenia, Khosrov natural reserve.

    could you please help me to identify it? in case you don't know exact name, any ideas and information will be useful!!! :)

    well, this was the first thing i've done in fact : ))

    there's no info on site, but i've written mail, so hope to get answer soon :)

    I went through every flower they have listed on their site and had no luck.

    Try Tragopogon porrifolius and look at google images.

    i've looked through google images and wiki and i think its enough for me to call this flower Salsify :)) at least it look much like it :))

    Yep.. just like I thought...

    The Goatsbeards or Salsifies are the genus Tragopogon of flowering plants
