Can anyone identify this plant? I grew it outdoors in a hanging pot for the summer. I brought it indoors for the winter. I think it looks like a begonia, but I'm not sure.

Hi Broncobill,

Your picture didn't post.* I'd love to see your plant.* I'll be away without computer access until Tuesday, so if no one has given you an id by then, I'll give it a go.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Thought I'd check back before I left.* It looks like a begonia and I suspect it's a* tuberous begonia.** If you do a google search with the term:
tuberous begonia
and click on 'Images', you'll see several different flower types.

Thanks very much. It is a tuberous begonia. I found the exact picture of my plant in tuberous begonias. Now I know how to "winter" it.
